I haven't seen much discussion on cruising Lake Powell this fall. There was a gathering most past years, on or around the third weekend in September. Anyone planning to go this year? We have commitments during that week this year, but we are planning to be at Lake Powell in early October...

I use a "Bait Bag" for live bait. Shown here mounted on the STB transom. Its a little hard to see, but the bait well pump is on the Port sponson. On a plane the water is forced into the bait bag. At rest I turn on the electric pump.

As an owner of a 2006 TomCat with 1100 hours of operation, I can report that I have had neither of these problems occur. Maybe just lucky!

There should be a group gather at Oak Canyon, about mile 50. The organization is a bit loose, and doesn't usually come together until later in the season. Normally the third Saturday in September.
