    Bunk guide-ons

Patrick, are you going to use the high guides (up closer to the gunnels) or the low guides? My homemade guides are halfway between the rub rail and the waterline, 1.5" clear on both sides, and I can see if the boat is centered on the trailer before I come out of the water. BTW...your generator...

    HOLY NIP-N-TUCK BOATMAN......

Byrdman sed.... 1994 Angler...68.75" from cockpit floor to the head-knocker at the door opening...70.0" to the top of the roof (low part at aft edge...not the raised mid section) I never had a head-knock issue till the Cumberland River trip. For some reason I simply forgot to duck, even when...

    HOLY NIP-N-TUCK BOATMAN......

Yes it does...never noticed that. I spoke with Ray just after he finished the first boat build (he wanted something like a C Dory). I'd already be building a "True Grit" if I had the room! Actually , I do have the room...but I'd have to have it on rollers to roll out of the shop during working...

    HOLY NIP-N-TUCK BOATMAN......

Taking a saws-all to my 22 would scare the living daylights out of me!...but doing something like this is very, very tempting! http://www.egyptian.net/~raymacke/TG/TG01.html

    HOLY NIP-N-TUCK BOATMAN......

Saw that pic earlier today....did a mapquest mileage to his general area to see how long it'll take me to get there...just in case he'll allow a bug-eyed C-Brat to watch in amazement.

A question for you 22' owners

Best to positively identify said bottle...and DO NOT place in the cooler after use....unless you're the dude from "Man VS Wild".

Torque on thru hull bolts for Mini Jacker

Actually, stainless bolts are only slightly stronger than grade 2 bolts (stainless cannot be hardened like regular steel) and much weaker than hardened steel bolts. I do use stainless, large washers, and lock nuts. I've seen A LOT of engines and brackets mounted so tight that the gelcoat/glass...

    Fuel flow problem

Could be...but I have 2 independent pick-ups in the tank...one main..one reserve...and I switched between them. Still, both could be clogged. The 2 independent pick-up lines share the same switching valve, and I did check the valve. Can't check the separate lines by hooking to them individually...

    Fuel flow problem

Spraying carb cleaner didn't indicate any air leaks, spoke to a local mechanic that instructed me on how to check the engine temp sensor that could prevent the engine from revving higher than 2k rpm...checked out fine. It's a beautiful day...so all volunteered fuel tanks are currently being used.

    Fuel flow problem

Thanks guys...checked the vent this morning, no restriction found. I'm heading down now to spray some carb cleaner while at idle...checking for air leaks. Lots of volunteered portable fuel tanks here at the campground, so I'll try that as well.

A question for you 22' owners

Definitely the 25. We have a 22 Angler because we like the larger cockpit (compared to the 22 cruiser), the 25 has ALL of the interior and cockpit space that we would like to have.

    Fuel flow problem

Sorry...this is on my pontoon boat. Engine starts fine, slight erratic idle, idles out fine in gear at 1000-1200rpm with erratic symptoms gone. Throttle up quickly or slowly and it will not throttle past 15-1800rpm. If I put it in neutral...it revs fine! Same in forward or reverse. At first, the...

    Help Please - Non-C-Dory Question

Don't go spoiling my 25 footer dream! Actually, I'm currently making a generator rack for the "Donna Marie"...I think I'll charge him $47,000 and trade in our angler...LOL!

    Help Please - Non-C-Dory Question

Lunch, dinner, sundowner, and now breakfast?....I'm gonna need a bigger cooler! Hmmmm?...I just measured my 22 Angler motorwell...I can't fit a bigger cooler! Sounds like a perfectly logical justification for the purchase a 25 Cruiser!

    Help Please - Non-C-Dory Question

I'm no expert, but I'd think that you could wrap some good tape several times around where the fitting hole is till you get to where you're towing to.
