going to try to tow the sucker up to the VW rlepair shop in Bellingham this morning some time after breakfast!

And what, may we ask, are you having for breakfast?

Charlie

Lunch, dinner, sundowner, and now breakfast?....I'm gonna need a bigger cooler!
Hmmmm?...I just measured my 22 Angler motorwell...I can't fit a bigger cooler! Sounds like a perfectly logical justification for the purchase a 25 Cruiser!

On our way in 10 minutes. If you see a Hyundai Tucson towing a yellow 1971 VW Bug SLOWLY up I-5 north of Everett, honk, that will be us. Cell phone is charged and AAA card is in the front of my wallet just in case!

You could always "fab" up some more of those generator racks, only much larger to accomodate super-sized coolers and have multiple coolers hanging off the gunwales.

Don't go spoiling my 25 footer dream!

Actually, I'm currently making a generator rack for the "Donna Marie"...I think I'll charge him $47,000 and trade in our angler...LOL!

OK Pat... I am slow....but it all just hit me.

You needed a big ol koozy gizmo to keep the keg cold at the Bellingham gig this weekend. Sun roof in the VW. Add Keg, Ice, CO2 bottle in the trunk, up front with the mugs..... and you do not have to carry the keg.

This has nothing to do with really wanting to get the VW the best way to Bellingham... It is all about hauling the beer for the gig.

Good Job!!

Wish I were there....

Byrdman

All went very smoothly towing, VW Bug delivered to John's Auto Repair in Fairhaven right out in front of the ferry terminal. At Birch Bay for lunch, then off the Hilton Harbor to get Daydream in the water for the long cruise over to Squalicum!

Pat:

This is just for you:

and for Swee Pea, the C-Brat who doesn't like the "make-do" appearance of the window AC on the front window of a C-Dory:

Pat- If you have the super duper AAA card they will tow it 100 miles without charge. It's not a favor, you paid for it.
