There is the "members map" that shows locations. However, it does seem to have errors. The location it gives for me is in the wrong state and somewhere that I have never been.

My boat came with a Norcold AC/DC refrigerator. Runs off the battery when shore power is not available. Draws about 3 amps at 12V when the compressor is running. No problems with it for 17 years.

Maybe it depends on the year of the boat, but on my '08 CD22, I wouldn't trust the structure there to hold a person's weight if the step is used a lot. My boat has the insert bins and the piece of FG they insert into is not that thick.

I don't know what the coefficient of expansion is for FG, but it is not zero. Depends on the type of FG and how it is structured.

You might want more margin. The coefficient of expansion of fiberglass is different than the tank. On my CD22 there are some things that can only be removed/installed in the summer when the boat expands.

The original drain plug on my CD22 was too high to drain the sump adequately. I added a new drain lower down and used a plastic tube instead of a metal one.

Bronze wool is better than steel wool. It won't rust. I use Bounce fabric softener sheets and Fresh Cab inside the cabin. I put vented bags with moth balls around the outside under the cover. Some of the advice is good. Presentation could use some work. The boat in the video does not seem to be in any sort of distress (i.e. not "fighting for their lives").

You also need to consider that if you bundle wires together, you will need to use larger wire sizes because bundles don't dissipate heat as well as single wires. Most wire size calculators allow you to specify the number of wires in a bundle when computing the proper wire size for your application.

It's not where the pads are that I was questioning, it's where they aren't. If it were me, I'd consider adding more pads (another 3 rows). Maybe it's not necessary, but it certainly wouldn't hurt.

Are you sure that those pads are not going to cause stress points and deform the tank? It appears that large areas of the tank skin will be unsupported. For instance, roto molded water tanks are supposed to be supported at least every 2 inches.

Do you have the all glass door or the one with the window?
