Not to throw wrench into the works :wink: But I shaker/siphoned 30 gals out after returning with fuel from Powell. I know I got almost all of it when I filled in Anacortes last month. It won't take long, and no worries.

Wow, catching up on threads after getting home. Amazing how many VW owners here. Over the years I have had just about every kind starting with a '56 Bug. Karmann Ghias, Square Back, several buses, first one a '67, a 74 that I had for years and traveled the continent in.

Bud, as Jim said and you know I tow with my Tundra. It is a 2008 and loaded up with the tow package that allows it to tow #10,000. With good working brakes and good driving techniques I have never had a problem towing up here to the PNW or Lake Powell.

So we are off on our cruise north. With an uneventful launch at Anacortes We then made a quick trip over to Friday harbor to see Jim and Joan. (Jim will have to supply proof as i did not take a picture of us) We then crossed over and made way up through the Gulf Islands to Nanaimo...

Hi back at you Jay. It was so great to follow your posts from the north. You and Jolene are the epitome of full on cruisers. It is what I want to be when I grow up. Be sure to let us know if you get down our way.
