Thanks for sharing the pix! Wow! You've pretty much answered a bunch of projects I've been mulling over. Love the seat raisers! And the roof rack is perfect. On our 19 storage is a bit of a challenge... especially with a kayak of two. Do the seats still swivel? I can swivel mine just a bit...

Depending on when you decide to go, let us know. We are itching to get back down that way. Are you planning to cruise in or trailer to? We could probably join you for a long weekend. I am hobbling about after a recent injury right now and wouldn't be able to do it for a couple weeks...

I have a 2000 Ford expedition I tow my 19 footer with. After a complete tune up (150000+ miles) it towed with no problems. Love that I barely feel the 19 behind me, but that's why we bought it... the boat size that is. I've drawn a couple long hills here in the Uwharries with no loss of speed...

After our chemistry chat at the NC Gathering, I have been applying your advice (especially as leaves drop here in NC!). Thanks for the guidance. I especially applied it to salt left from the gathering on trailer. One of a list of things I learned from C-Brats while there!

I hate to drill the two holes per side they require, come to the same conclusion you did, decide to move to the Permatrim only to discover I need to drill four holes per side because the "Doel" holes don't line up for the...

I ordered the Doel fins for my 19 footer this week... recommended by my dealer rather than Permatrim. They've seen too much breakage with the latter. Will let you all know the results.

Interesting! These are Stingray XR III ? I am looking at Doels but I really like the idea of not drilling holes!

The great news is you still have a C-Dory dealer close by... you'll find Mobile East Marine in Alliance, NC to be totally opposite of your experience with the Charleston dealer.
