Well, we are going up this year but on a cruise ship!! We are thinking that we may be able to go up into Canada for a week or so but probably won't be able to do Alaska until 2008 in our boat.
Have you started planning an itenerary??

We currently own the #1 dog, Border Collie, and will be adding the #8 dog, Papillon, to our family in January. It is hard having dogs that are smarter than their owners  !!
We met Rodney yesterday when we went to the Sea Ray in Fife to ask about some parts. Very nice guy!! It was funny seeing C-Dory's with Verado engines on them but they sure looked good!!

Tyboo,
I remember the CG doing a "haunted house/ship" when I lived in Sitka. I was pretty young but I remember being so scared!
Have fun tonight!!

Okay I will chime in here :note :note I love Nickle Creek. I first started listening to them when I was trying to learn bluegrass fiddle. They are incredible!
What am I listening to now... Well, in the mornings on the way to school it is usually John Denver. My kids chose him almost every...
Well, I am hoping now that the Boat Show will have a good representation of grills to browse through. I appreciate everyone opening my eyes to all of these options!

Thanks for all the comments!! I think we may need to give the Magma another look. I hadn't really thought about the other type not lasting as long.

Thanks for your input Roger! The ones we are looking at actually come with there own stands that bring them up off the ground to about counter height. I don't think heat under them would be a problem since they are free standing?
The think I really don't like about the idea of the Magma is...
We are looking at getting a grill for the boat and are not sold on the idea of a Magma type hanging on the railing. Does anyone use or has anyone given thought to one of those Weber or Coleman type portable grills? They use a small propane bottle and fold down fairly flat. We are trying to...
George and Penny,
I just finished reading your adventures and I had to tell you how much I enjoyed them. I especially loved the pictures and the way you showed your routes with the maps. We hope to be able to do this one day!!
I really would like to go to Meyer's Chuck as I met Joan Meyers...
Just wanted to add that we overnighted there on Saturday and had a wonderful time!! What a great little marina and we could not believe how quiet it was at night! A cruise ship pulled in while we were sleeping and we didn't hear a thing!

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We had communicated with Norm several times over email and he seemed to be so giving of himself. He did not hesitate to offer us help with our electronics on our boat and we appreciated all of the useful information he gave us. We are just sorry that we...
Thanks David and sorry I didn't advise of a different boat. I think most all of what you have told me still applies to our setup as well. I guess I need to get a schematic of our system and see if we use our water on board or draw from outside water.
I appreciate all of your help with this...
