Dave,
Great to see you back! I've missed your wisdom on many topics. Your boat will handle 75hp with no problem. I've seen your boat many times and know how you handle it, you use more common sense than most boaters.
Hope to see you on the water.
Happy Birthday Jay!
I really enjoy following you two on your adventures.
21 more days of work until I retire and Cathy follows me into retirement one month later. I see lots of boat time in our future.
Safe travels.
I guess I've stayed out of this as long as I can. As a person with 10 years of fish farming experience it's been hard to keep my opinions to myself.
Starting in 1980 I went to work for Domsea Farms We raised up to 20 million pounds of Silver salmon a year in net pens in puget sound. King...
We went crabbing off the dock at Tokeland Saturday. (yes that's a town not a state of mind)
We kept 5 nice Dungeness crabs in a two hour pot soaking. The weather was perfect , sunny and the mid 50's.
It looks like Cathy and I will be Staying at the Larkspur in Renton and will be hanging out with Sensei and Byrdman.
Hope to see everyone at the potluck.
Pat,
Thanks for the warning that you will be back in the area. I talked to Roger yesterday to see if he was going to Seatle boat show and he spilled the beans about you coming. It's always fun when you are around.
Ruth,
Hurry up and get well, Joe might starve to death without your help.
Joe, you better go get Ruth a couple cans of whipped cream to console her.
All the best to you two.
Larry & Cathy.
Sorry Cathy and I are going to miss this event. I promise this is the last year that work will get in the way.
I gave my retirement notice two months ago and by next spring I will be free
I worked for a division of Campbell Soup for ten years in the DomSea division. We raised Coho salmon and some Kings in the early years.
We had two large fresh water sites in Rochester Washington and three net pen sites in Puget Sound.
My job was to build and maintain the freshwater sites. Our...
