08/18 - 08/20 - Bellingham, WA

Any runners in attendance?

I'll be headed out Saturday and/or Sunday mornings, if anyone wants to join me.

Bill, I might be interested, depending on distance. Any chance you stashed a bicycle in your land yacht? I'll ride alongside you. By the way, have I got the right Bill?

Brock, I've got a bike here too, but wouldn't be able to keep up with you...it's the mountain bike! Planning to ride over to Fairhaven tomorrow then hit the interurban out to Larabee then the logging road up to Fragrance Lake. Just for old time sake. Used to ride that route daily in college, sometimes twice a day. Ah, those were the days! Hope to be back by early afternoon as others are arriving.

I took my chances and pulled into Squalicum just after 8 tonight, dock is still pretty full but found a spot...hoping some of these other boats clear out tomorrow morning! So far three C-Brats already here...Limpet, Big-c and Reef Madness!

See you tomorrow!

-Mike

Sorry Cathy and I are going to miss this event. I promise this is the last year that work will get in the way.
I gave my retirement notice two months ago and by next spring I will be free

The traffic predictions have scared us off! We are really sorry that we won't be making the drive. It seems everybody from Canada to Mexico is heading to the middle of Oregon to watch it get dark for two minutes.

I am looking forward to the stories and pictures.

Here is your photo album

LarryQ, Super Congrats on the change to the new life. Next year it will probably be travel, and you will be just on the other side of Timbucktoo or someplace

Tyboo, just in case, I am traveling with 2 weeks worth of food and water, and
REMEMBERING Y2K

Hi,

I just bought a new C-Dory two days ago. I met a man named Gene/Jean who told me some activities are happening in Bellingham this weekend. I saw some random ideas about a gathering, but is there an actual timetable as far as places and times to meet?

By the way, my new boat (current name C-Horse) is docked on gate 12 directly under Hearthfire in Bellingham.

Jeff, The C-BRATS (C-Dory owners and friends) will be at Bellingham, Squalicum Harbor, 722 Coho Way, Bellingham, WA 98225

Ph: 360-676-2542

C-Brats will be behind Gate #9

Hope that helps. AND, Welcome here too. You will find that you didn't just buy a boat, you joined a family. Enjoy. It's a great place and super nice people.

Have fun! Sorry we can't be there! We are anchored in the St. Joseph River behind Marina Island in Michigan right now, and will try to call in while you guys are at Anthony's!

Jeff, welcome, we can see your boat from the visitor dock over here at gate 9. I think most everyone is here, several came via car and I think 5 C-dorys and a Sorensen on the dock now. Pizza tonight on the dock (time not yet determined probably in next hour or two, it's 4:00 now). Factory Tour tomorrow at 10, and Anthony's tomorrow at 4:30. Bring your lawn chairs over we're just hanging out on the dock.

Hope to meet you soon!

It sounds like the factory tour went well. I hope you all are enjoying the event with your inimitable host Brock and have a great time at the dock and beyond.

I apologize for getting scared off by the traffic and hope that the dotcom part of C-Brats is being well represented by Will and Denise.

Have fun and share pictures!

Sorry Brock and gang, I was close at Twin Bridges planning on making the dinner but I had to go home instead due to the alarm going off at our house. Luckily everything is ok.

I hope the dinner and gathering turned out great.
