    Trent Severn Canal

Take the cue from Will C. Just do it in chunks and don't rush it. We dreamed for 5 years before we went and are starting to dream again.

How to avoid wobbling when anchored

Another trick that worked for us was to toss a small mushroom anchor (that we had for our dinghy) off the stern. An added complication with two lines in the water, but it did slow down the sailing.

How to avoid wobbling when anchored

See colobear's response - that has worked for us on the boats we have owned.

    Trent Severn Canal

Hi there, We took 17 days from Kingston to South Bay Cove Marina in Georgian Bay (in our Monk 36), but that included waiting for company to show up from Utah. We loved everyplace we went, but the lift locks (Peterborough & Kirkfield) and the Big Chute railway were definitely highlights). Oh...

    Smart Tabs SX

Morning all, I have installed the smart tabs on my 19' Angler. I also have the permatrims installed. The permatrims helped keep the nose down pretty well, but adding the smart tabs completed the deal. I am very happy with them. I also installed a system (taken from pg.13 on this...

    "Agreed" Cash Value

Morning all, I have my 1993 19 Angler insured through State Farm. Much better rate than Boat US. I had to get a survey to get a loan from my credit union and State Farm used that survey as the "Agreed Value". Which was, by the way, $3,000 more than what I paid for the boat. The survey was...

Charleston SC to St Elizabeth NC

Hi there, We haven't done the trip in a C-Dory, but have transited the area several times in our trawler. Our speed in the trawler was about 7.5 knots, so our rate of travel was pretty relaxed. We averaged between 20 and 30 days based on different routes and the time we spent playing at...

    Hi All

Just went through the financing/insurance issue with the purchase of a 93 angler 19. Had to get a marine survey done to establish a value. Survey came in $3,000 more than the offer, so no problems after that. Gerry Wee Wine 2

What type of adhesive to re-attach sliding window latch?

Yes, I used them on our Monk 36. Helped to keep light rain from entering the open windows in the salon and aft stateroom. Make sure you install with a slight angle to insure proper draining. During a heavy rain, they will likely overflow as the channel isn't very deep. Easy to install and...
