The BOODALU went down to the Lake of the Ozarks today where it will live for the next several months. Once in the water it ran great. I got 7.9mpg in the F250 D driving down - the road to the lake is hilly and the boat is heavy.

I also use cradle point wi-fi pipe mdr 1000 and it works well. Unfortunately my Verizon broadband aircard works at one of our houses and not the other. And my Sprint air card has the opposite problem. Hopefully we will get some overlap soon so I can shed one of the air cards.

Garmin has a unit (378?) that allows you to monitor the XM Navweather service which is supposedly localized and "real time". I am considering buying the unit (its not cheap) and it would be interesting to hear if anyone has any experience with the service.
