You guys seriously helped me decide to buy a C-Dory 25

Wow MartyP... you must Pennsylvania deprived. If I'm towing my CD16 all the way across country, it's to lakes in Maine and the Maine coast to enjoy some lobsters, or to Miami for the sun, blue ocean and salsa dancing! Why don't you tow your CD16 down to Los Angeles next August for our annual Catalina week? It's a blast !...and a CD16 can do just fine if you have the camper back and art of compact living down. Last August, my 16 ft cruiser with wife and two dogs on board lead the pack across the 32 miles of sea from Marina Del Rey to the Two Harbors Isthmus. Our esteemed flotilla leader, oh I won't say who, couldn't get his malfuntioning autopilot to stop sending him towards Mexico so C-Pup ended up in the lead! It would be cool to have another CD 16 on the mooring string!

As far a naming the boat, you would do well to contact our modest Acting Senior Vessel Nomenclature Director, JimTXSD. Here's an example of his last suggestion, to a young couple named Tim and Shan...

"Here's a name suggestion: The Fit. Of couse you will have to be careful when launching... to not let The Fit hit the Shan. "

. Once that's settled. You have to arrange to fly in Rev Jim (DaveS of the SeaShift) to officiate at the ceremony. Unfortuately he is not available this year on either Christmas or Hanukkah. Keith-Thanks for the gracious invite. I've never been to California except for stops at the airport. As for Maine and Florida, I'll go anywhere on the eastcoast that is within 50 miles of a Jersey Diner. But enough about me....

Congratulations Jeff on C-Pearl. I like how you came up with your name. Good choice. Bring some of those Maine lobsters over here and we'll trade for their weight in Dungeness Crab.
