Yikes! Mouse on Board!

Ve have a resident mouse on board and my grand children loves it! Well. sort of.
In the center of the step going from cabin to cockpit at floor level is a half round hole where cabin water can get thru and to the bilge pump under step. Sort of an unsightly hole so  I took some thin sections of teak and cut out a "mouse house" complete with shingle roof then glue it over hole opening. Now it looks better and I needed a resident so went to wlmart and bought cat toy mouse. When kids are around we take him out of drawer and position him "in his doorway". During the day he "moves" about the boat which gives little ones elation each time they find him. They put him back in his "house" and game continues.

Mouse on board is not all bad :embarrased

hi martin,
great idea! however, i now think you are now obligated to post pictures of this palatial mouse house estate! i'm assuming it has miniature marine air and heat, small mouse head, not to mention very small ice chest for mouse beers.
best regards from a very hot, 97 degrees in ohio,
pat

the ohio valley was in the mid 90's this weekend, the ohio river mile marker 469 and downbound very muddy, west virginia's rains have flowed south.
