Yamaha digital gauge stop working

I have digital yamaha gauges on my dory. This morning one of the tach didn't turn on when the motor stated. I tap the gauge and it worked. Now when I tap the gauge the screen will turn off and then back on. All the wire are connected. It's like there is a lose connection inside the gauge. Can these gauges be taken apart and repaired? Has anyone had this problem before the gauges are on 07 yamaha 40hp.

Probably cost more to fix than replace . Its plug and play . East to replace , connectors "polarized " so you cant install incorrectly .

We had a 97 115 hp Yamaha Saltwater two stroke. The same thing occurred. We just bought a new one. Easy fix. Hope the new one lasts a long time.
