Winter mods (update)

So, I had a busy winter guys (boatwise and life wise). I bought a 2nd home this February and have officially rented out my old condo. Very stressful.....but in a good way.

My C Dory was very busy too. She had LOTS of upgrades and work done over the winter. The biggest of which was pulling up my cockpit sole and steps and then making the necessary repairs/inspections.

The next big job was adding a hot/cold water sink to my head. It was hard because space is at a premium on the 25 head's! But it came out amazing. Very happy....

After that then we did these things:

1. Adding a 2nd VHF radio

2. Adding a HDTV antenna and 19 inch TV to the cabin

3. Added 2 8k lumen underwater lights (ooooh,,,bright! )

4. Added 2 LED spot lights to the roof looking aft

5. Added 2 portlights to the v berth

Here's some pics. I'll add more later and take a video as well.

Busy Winter for sure..nice work!
We put a sink in our head also and my wife loves it.
I hope she never sees the blue lights ...I just don't have the courage...or skill to cut holes in my hulls.

Offleash: Your old post about your sink was in part the impetus for my sink mod. Lol. Thanks.

Can you go into more detail about the sink. I love it, and want one.
Thanks in advance.

Chris: I can't take credit for it. I got the inspiration from other Brats who had done it and my mechanic (retired electrical engineer) installed it.

He used a standard SS sink and 2 way faucet. The base was made from starboard with some teak trim pieces. That was a custom cut from him and took some skill.

One thing he did ask me was how did i want the plumbing tied in. He told me the pros and cons of both; and I decided on having the head sink tied into the galley sink lines. Its also nice because if you go that route then its a cleaner install then tieing in to the shower lines.

I love it! It definitely takes up real estate BUT I think the trade-off is worth it. It doesn't bother me at all and I'm 6 feet tall.

Awesome, thanks. If you get a chance some pics of under the sink and the hose connections would be great, so I can mentally build it first. This is going to be so much better than washing hands in kitchen sink.
Thanks
