Windy Day at Birch Bay

Patty says I always call this "C-Dory weather" but actually I don't think so today...shot from our deck at Birch Bay about an hour ago...

I'm at Twin Bridges reinstalling and testing the Wallas. Definitely windy. The only boat that I've seen leave today is a 22 C-Dory named My Heaven and it came back after an hour or so. I might get out this afternoon for a bit, we'll see...

My heaven is Don. Great guy that lives near by. You should say hi to him sometime. Hes a retired parks ranger.

Lots of white caps on the Straits today. 41 kt gusts at Smith Island. Not my kind of "C-Dory weather" :disgust

It was nasty in Bellingham as well. We have c-weetness parked near the breakwater at Hilton Harbor and the spray was coating her pretty much all day long. Time to wash her off with some salt away. Happy New Year everyone!

Jay, I have a fairly precise mental image of what you are describing from our two seasons at Hilton Harbor! We loved that place, loved having Curt sling us in and out, when we were going out more or less every weekend. Our spot was well away from the breakwater!
