Windshield roa travel cover

Does anyone know where I can get a cover for the front windows on a 25? Love bugs are terrible down here and I’d like something to cover windows while on the road.

I had a canvas place make one for me out of an almost vinyl material so it would be easier to clean. I had a pocket for each window, and place a foam pad (a cut up yoga pad) into the pockets for some cushion in case of rocks. It hangs from some hooks at the top of the window and then I run tie lines al the way to the back of the cabin to snug it up tight at the top. At the bottom, it ties down to the cleats.

Sorry, no pictures (yet) and too far from the boat right now to get any. NOPE, I found some. Just put them into my album on P-9. Take a look. I will need to get them into a proper sub-album, but will need to study that first.

Material and labor was around $100.

Sorry I should have posted those pix at a see-able size.

There are loops of strap at the top and bottom of the cover. It hangs from the top ones, and the top support line goes through those as well, and then around to the back of the cabin to make it very snug. The bottom loops have a line through them that ties off at the two midship cleats.

All of my boats had an outside windshield cover. Any local canvas shop can make one for you. If you want to DIY, buy a yard of "Shelter Rite" fabric from Sailrite. You need some HH66 glue, and a snap set tool. The whole shebang should be less than $100. If you buy 4 yards of "Shelter Rite" You will have enough for a awning over the front opening window and front V Berth hatch, which will allow excellent ventilation when it is raining.

The fabric is 61" wide, and costs $ 19 a yard. The snaps are $7 for 10, the snap setting topol about $20, (Cheapies are $8) A hole cutter $8. The Glue is $12. Make a template out of butcher paper or cardboard, and go at it.

If you want to do the awning the D ring patches to glue on the Shelter Rite fabric are $ 12 for 4--you need 6,
