I didn't realize there was a commercial fishery on the river still.
A local market here in Reno is selling fresh kings this week though.
How is the run doing up there ?
Yes they still net the river and over fish it. I have joined the CCA to help get it stopped. there has to be better way to fish then gill nets. Do your self a favor and search the CCA.
This, I think, is one of the largest runs in years. We don't fish the river much, if we can get over the bar we fish the ocean. The fishing there has been great but probably one Chinook for every fifteen Coho... I'm not complaining.
