Who Has Done the "LIttle Loop"?

Barry and Patti will be taking off on the "Little Loop" after Friday Harbor, and going the "wrong way" for the Great Loop, but since they won't be doing the river system between the Great Lakes and the Gulf, it really doesn't matter. Anybody else done this? I would love route details! This seems much more palatable to Patty than the Great Loop right out of the chute.

They are starting in Port Severn, Trent-Severn to Rideau Canal, then through Ottawa and Montreal, then down to Lake Champlain, down the Champlain Canal to the Hudson and back across on the Erie Canal finally ending up back at Port Severn. At least that is what I understood them to be saying.
