West Coast Picture Help

Need some help from the left side folks please. Sherryl and I drove to Oak Harbor when we purchased Dusty's TC24 back in 2003. Sherryl took this picture of our tow rig and boat and I can not recall just where we were. There was a single road out about 1/2 mile out it seems as I recall, just a turn around and back to shore. I wanted to go out there...just to say I had...and Sherryl stayed back taking other pictures.... and got this shot as I returned from the out and back.

Can anyone identify that big rock in the backgound and the location of this pic? It was either on the CA or OR coast... Snow storm was coming, and did come and shut down I-5 at the CA/OR state line for a few days... We took a back road west over to Hwy 1 and ran the CA coast for a long, long way.... prior to turning east.

Thanks. Byrdman

No idea, Patrick, but it looks more like Or-e-gone than Warshington...Geez, I remember when we did the christening of the TC24 C-Salt in February 2003 in Olympia, what did Sawdust say about why he was selling it so soon?

Can't remember why -- and the reason was probably not logical. Wish that I had that one back!! Because of my lack of limberness (careful!!) I had a difficult time climbing out of the head in the 24... but it was a great boat and my wife's favorite.

Yes, my family members loved it too. I know why I got rid of her...is that I was having a crazy idea of cutting the roof off, extending it forward, putting in reverse angle pilot house type forward windows, that all opened. Please remember, that during this time frame, SCOUT was in the rebuild process... and I was being led astray.... I just used the head for storage, and used my handy dandy PETT Wag-Bag system for the real head business. Had the hot/cold shower set up back by the transom. Great boat. One of those in the should have kept it. Another big draw back was the less than perfect trailer set up. We did work all that out with different designs when workthing thru the build process of the TC255.... and I could have just sold that nice pontoon trailer and bought me one of the new trailers....but, hind sight is always 20/20..

Hate to say it, but I lost all my pics from the trip other then the very few I put on my C-Brat site. That was one great road trip...and, one great boat.

Yep - you were probably on B street. Unfortunately, the google street view from that location was shot on a foggy day so I can't reproduce the approximate photo from your exact position but Bill's photo shows the well enough.
