We are up and crawling again. Yep, no high speed internet out here, just dial up. I logged on tonight and had 1625 posts since my last visit, that was maybe maybe 3 weeks ago. Holy smokes!

Got some catching up to do and sure glad to be back.

1625 posts on dial-up??? Should be able to catch up by next Christmas or the 2007 SBS/SBC!

Jon,
Why don't you look into satellite internet connection. Where I live DSL and cable is not available. I have had Direcway Satellite connection for around eight years, maybe more. While it is not as good as Cable or hi-speed DSL it is 20 to 40 times faster than dial-up. All you need is a clear view to the southern sky at about 22 degrees above the horizon
 
Much Thanks to all of you for all the well wishes on our move and new home!

We'll have to send out some pictures of our place when we get a bit more settled. Heck, we just got hooked up on the web a couple of days ago, give us a chance & we'll get some posted.

Extra thanks to Ruth & Joe, & Dana & Bill for all the muscles that made it all possible. We couldn't have made it without them!

Things are shaping up here, Jon is cleaning up and mowing, I've planted all my perennials, working on the yard, & unpacked - now we can start relaxing. Yippee :smiled

Welcome back and CONGRATULATIONS on the new digs. We'll be looking forward to seeing more details on the homestead.

The face of that part of the peninsula will be changed forever with a couple of wild & crazy guys like you and Bill neighboring each other. Good thing you've got Cynthia and Dana around to keep things under control.

It's all part of our master plan...with folks like us there, the property values will start dropping like a rock, and our taxes along with them.

Now, if we could just get Brock to move out there, we'd be payin' next to nuttin'... :smilep
