We'll take it!

Great News Marty. Hope I get to tie up next to you at the Friday Harbor CBGT, or anywhere else for that matter. Congratulations, that 16 couldn't have found a better home.

BTW, there is some great boating in Portland to do your "Sea trial" on, and there is even a tide effect.

Again, thank you everyone for your gracious comments. We do appreciate it. Our C-Brat friends are an important part of the many blessings for which we give thanks.

Marty what made you go for an angler vs a cruiser like you had ? Does the angler ride better I know it has more fishing room

In no particular order, it's because it weighs about 100 lbs less, there is usable lockable space for stowage rather than the open bunk area we dont need for our day cruising use, the lack of 'hump ' in the roof allows it to fit in our garage, it's cuter (see the C-Brats logo above), we can reach the manual wiper handles while seated, and finally, I confess, it's better balanced to handle the built in 22 gallon fuel tank, two batteries, and two engines at the stern. Thanks for asking Jim.

Marty-

Congratulations!

Cruiser vs. Angler: I'm curious about your new choice, too!

Do you have or plan to have some sort of canvas rear bulkhead or cover to help keep out the weather when its cold?

I saw a rare model C-Dory Offshore 21 in the Bay Area about a decade ago with a clear vinyl bulkhead with a zippered door in the middle that might be a nice touch on a cold day or wet ride.

Good Luck!

Joe. :teeth :thup

Here's some pictures from the original ad. The trailer shown is not ours, we're getting a new one. There is also a full camper canvas, not shown. Lots of fishing ad-ons we will take off and give to the SBS swap.

Marty, the color is the same....what do you wanna bet, your neighbors won't even know the difference....they'll think you purchased your former 16' back.

(Hmmm. Same color boat, same brand and color engine, however now a 50 HP instead of 40 HP, and kicker on starboard side instead of on the port side). Yep, still bet they won't notice.

Hi Dave- What are you talking about? Anybody can see they are two distinctly different boats

Silly me for thinking that, now I see....one is on a trailer and the other on the water sporting an American Flag.

I just came through Portland today. Was down seeing relatives and also stopped to see the Spruce Goose in McMinnville. Let me know when you are ready for new "on the water" photos. I have a better camera now !

I do like the 16 Angler

Hi Marty,

Hey, I'm pretty sure it won't take you too long to get the new "Lizzie II" on the water. Way to go.
