"Here" or "all here"? My wife sometimes thinks I'm not all together there  but I think I count for this purpose.....
:P

By the way - I previously suggested that we have a "virtual party" when the 1000th has registered - e.g. we all get drunk and type like crazy....... what do others think would be an appropriate (or even fun and inappropriate) way to celebrate thiis "momentus" occasion? I think we should at least send the two head nerds a bottle of something each....

Still waiting to get the camper back canvas done.

...but the last line of your first post makes you #1.

Was that CD16 of yours the Denebola formerly owned by our good friend WD50? If so, you got a great boat from some great people!

Welcome to the Pub!! Any chance of us seeing you on the lower Columbia sometime soon?

I may get on the Columbia later as I get more experience

The people that were the owners were (last name) Hull. I think they live in the Portland area.

The boat will first go to Lakeside Oregon, which is just a mile or two from Winchester Bay. Hope to get in some fishing and crabbing in that area. I own an rv lot in the "Osprey Villlage" at Lakeside so will have two lakes there to use it on. :hot

I'm old and gray as well as never have owned a boat but this is my life long dream so hope it is not a nightmare. Have always worked long hours and still have farm at Molalla that keeps me out of taverns and off the streets. :?: :beer :cigar

I think we need to have a log-in party and break the record.

Sounds like a plan... I'll prepare some good (or at least marginal) jokes for the pub...

cdlas- these boats are pretty user friendly and dependable so your worries about nightmares are lessened...if you're old and gray you have a leg up on many members....who are old and shiney :)
enjoy the boat

Speaking of old and shiny, I was sent this photo by someone who claims to have taken it at the C-Dory boat show gathering. He wouldn't identify the person.

Can anybody help identify this Brat?

Even though I no longer own a CD :cry I am still here.

cdlas has bought the "Denebola" and we are now using our old reliable 12' Livingston for a while.

By the way cdlas, Denebola is the first star :star you see in the western sky this time of year. It was significant to us when we bought our cabin in Wheeler OR. I know you will find a great new name for her and remember to do a proper christening to ward off .

So about breaking the log-on record, how about the evening of the 1000th new member? Say 8:00 PDT?

20 away from 1k...Whoever guesses closest to that date wins a fabulous prize from the Tyboo prize patrol.
When will member 1k join up?
June 12th is my guess.

May 20 and just got home with the new boat, to me. We put into the river at Sportscraft and took it for the first ride in bettween thunderstorms. :D
It sure is a nice boat and handles like a dream. :smilep Will leave in the morning for Lakeside and Ten mile lake. Hope I get time to put it in there :smiled

I'm picking June 15 for the 1000th member :moon
