we dont need a ramp mate.

Tom-

1. Certainly eliminates the need for bottom paint or bottom cleaning!

2. I wouldn't stand right in front of that cable when he's pulling the boat back on the trailer on the beach! A broken cable could be a dangerous whip or bandsaw blade, depending on it's elasticity, etc.

3. Helps that he has a tandem trailer (for the load distribution in the sand) and a roller trailer (for reloading the boat on the trailer).

4. With the tractor's variable height tongue connector, it turns the trailer into a "tilt trailer", effectively.

5. Note the plastic covered bunks in the rear of the trailer with the downward turned loading ramp section.

6. Just shows "Where there's a will, there's a way!", as my Dad used to say.

Joe. :teeth :thup

That'll keep those pesky barnacles off the hull!

That appears to be an aluminum hull. They also have self propelled tailors, which they drive into the surf in Aussie,The boat is strapped on, and when the water is deep enough the boat and trailer move out beyond the surf line--the trailer is anchored, and the boat drops the trailer, which floats. They do the reverse to come back in.
