We need everyone's eyes and ears to be on the look out for our next C-Dory project and adventure.
I/we completely dismantled and restored a 1983 C-Dory Classic a few years ago (purchased in Spring, Texas), sold it last spring (went to Arkansas), also just sold (this week end), “Lil Sis” our 1990 16’ Angler (purchased in Idaho Falls, Id. a few years ago and went to Wisconsin), and just got back (to Iowa) from a 3620 mile round trip to Lake Havcasu City, Az. to pick up a 2004, 19’ C-Dory in near perfect condition.
So, if you would please, be on the look out for a potential C-Dory restoration project (shabby and/or under priced) and (what we are always looking for) the associated road trip/adventure.
Some projects are too far gone for me with extensive hull damage (like the one that was parked on it’s trailer and hit from behind by a pick up truck, if you remember the photos on C-Brats).
A few years ago our friends in Cypress, Texas (Tex and Sharon Allen) did a wonderful restoration on a 22' C-Dory Cruiser that was abandoned in a boat yard.
Please keep us in mind, if you see, discover, run on to or know of a C-Dory that has been setting around in one place too long.
