Well that was timely. I was just telling my bride (on her first day of retirement) that I was going to go down to WM and pickup some 3M Clean and Wax. I think I will order some collinite instead.
Hi,
As reccommended by Tyboo or DaNag, that stuff is the bomb. Easy to apply and remove, it holds up well even in a saltwater enviroment. You should buy both the cleaner and the wax as the wax is pretty much a wax not much of a cleaner. Good stuff.
D.D.
I bought a used 22' several months ago that had a pretty sound hull, just some really minor dings. I took it to a guy that does detail work on boats just east of salem called "Randys' Detail". It was remarkable what he accomplished on that 1996 hull. His website shows the products he uses and it is remarkable. I have used it several times in saltwater and more in fresh and just rinse it off and it sparkles.
