Want to read River Horse?

Sorry I've been slow to respond, but I took a break from computers over the weekend. Send me a private message with your address, and I'll get it on the way.

For any of you that haven't read that book yet, I found it pretty entertaining, and also had some good information. I can't imagine myself traveling with those two, but it was quite the adventure.

First, a confession--I do not own a boat, unless you count my Old Town canoe. But, because of calls from C-Dory owners wondering where the boat was, I was looking for a way to get the word out on Nikawa, the C-Dory that made the journey across America in "River Horse." The structure that will house Nikawa as well as related exhibits now has a concrete footing and framing will begin next week. The Nikawa Pavilion, located at the Walters-Boone County History Museum, is tentatively to be dedicated the end of October, barring construction delays, and the William Least Heat Moon will be at the dedication. If ya'll are interested, I'll post updates on its progress.
