Wallas Preventive Maintenance

I seem to recall that at least a couple C-Brats have dismantled parts of their Wallas stoves for cleaning. Who are these daring individuals and more importantly do any instuctions, descriptions, or photos of the process exist?

It seems to me that the Wallas is somewhat like a high-tech, electronically-controlled Jungers oil furnace, the internal workings of which I used to be intimately familiar with. Like most folks, I'd be dead in the water, so to speak, if something happened to the circuitry, but it seems like cleaning the firepot and igniter periodically would be a wise thing to do. And it seems like it shouldn't be too hard, if I knew what it was I was looking at on the underbelly of the beast.

Any advice?

flagold - I converted the web page to a PDF file and it is available HERE.
You can save it to your hard drive or if someone wants to put it in the documents folder (archive) on this site, then I don't have to keep it available here.

Thanks Dave -- I already had the info and unfortunately have had to use it many times, but others should certainly take up the offer if they contemplate repairs.
