To all C-brats

Most of you know that A group of us C-brats participate in the fundraiser Walk To Defeat ALS.

In Memory of Dee Gonser, who died of ALS , Lou Gehrig's Diseases on January 2013. just over a year ago.

Dee was married to Don Gonser of the Knotty C. very active c-brats. We walk to support Don and his family to raise money for research and for patient support.

This year the walk is September 20th, in Vancouver. In two short weeks.

This disease has also taken our Aunt Sheila Watson the year before. and a coworkers son. This disease also took Patty's Dad of daydream.

If you were thinking of donating to our team this year now is the time

Please take a look at our website for the walk. Tom and I , and Don have personally witnessed the amazing things this organization does to directly help the families of those afflicted. The ALS association provided high end power wheel chairs to both Dee and our Aunt Sheila while they waited for health insurance to catch up and pay. Sheila also received an ipad with voice programming so she could talk with us, doctors and nurses.

our team is Dee's Wing Walkers

and a Big shout out to Amy Frazey of the c-brats who has been fundraising for this event for weeks. She is an amazing woman, dedicated to this organization and I am SO looking forward to walking with her at this event

here is the team web site to donate

Thank you Susan.

Thanks to the C-Brats for your past and continued support in the Walk to Defeat ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). We walk this year to remember Dee and help her spirit live on. We walk to provide support to those who are suffering from this disease and we walk for a cure!
Please walk with us, Dee’s Wingwalkers, Saturday, September 20th to defeat ALS. The walk is 3 miles and travels from Esther Short Park to Beaches Restaurant and back. Check in is at 11 am. If you are unable to walk, please pledge to me or one of the other walkers.
Google Dee’s Wingwalkers or go to:

Thanks Charlie.

Nice Photo

You're welcome Susan. And yes it's a nice photo, but I'm missing... That's the price I pay for being on the "Wrong Coast".  Maybe it's a better photo BECAUSE of that though... :P

we can't make the walk this year but it's not to late to donate to a worthy cause, I best be clicking on over to the Dee's Wing Walkers link. ALS was never on my radar until Dee became a victim, now, it surprise me how many people battle this and how little funding goes to research.

Great you guys do this Don, Susan, Tom, Amy, and John!

Definitely a contribution for a great cause.

Take care,
Dan, Tanya, and Hannah on C-Renity

Any pics of our C-Brat Walking Team? Just getting back on the site after some time away. Great photo of the ladies at the C-Brat gathering. Byrdman
