My prediction....on January 21st, Mr Trump will be slapped with a number of indictments both state and federal. The primary charges will be obstruction of justice (see Mueller report), money laundering (see Deutsche Bank scandal), and perhaps tax evasion (see Grand Jury subpoenas for his tax returns). If he indeed manages to avoid conviction on all those indictments, then I agree with you.....except I think he will not form a completely new party, but instead he will form a "populist" challenge within the Republican party. His immediate action will be to buy a news network (OANN?) which will compete with FOX News and will broadcast material as a sort of combo of his Tweeter account and NewsMax programming. (note: his friend who owns NewsMax is going to discover what a fickle friend Trump can be).
 
"about 66% voted"--that is actually a very high number. The interesting one is Wisconsin, where almost 90% voted...and some other interesting numbers of initially registered voters, vs actual registered voters etc.

Not only did we have a very high turnout (relatively speaking), but we also registered a lot more new voters on election day. At least in our district. I can't remember our exact number for the district I work in, but we already had approx 2100 registered voters, and we registered like another 130 or so on November 3. I don't know why folks won't register ahead of time, as it is so easy. As a poll worker, it's kind of a pain and slows down the process a bit when we have to add them to the roll book as they then sign in to vote. BTW, I believe our city actually hit 92%. :) (Stoughton, WI) Colby
