Using iPhone to load photos

Does anyone know how to upload photos from an iPhone to C-Brats? I have no problem doing it from my laptop. However I can not get the “pop up loader” to come up while using my iPhone. :? Colby

I can do it from my iPhone using the Chrome app. I haven't used Safari for a while but I seem to recall it didn't work so good for photos on here.

I will load up some screen shots of how Chrome works on my iPhone 6.

Here are the first three steps with Chrome on my iPhone. I loaded these pics from the phone.

Choose add photos and click the X:






Choose whether to take a pic or load from camera roll:





If you choose to load from camera roll you get this:

I post photos here using my IPad with safari. To do so pop ups & cookies must be allowed during the process. Also at times I’ve had to find the pop up for photo up loading on a different tab. The different tab problem can also occur when making changes to a photo, naming a album or just about any time during working the photo process, when pop ups must be accessed.

Too old to change and I like Safari on my iOS! Lol. But did find the pop up blocker. Added one new photo to the Snake River album. Next question, how do I find it’s URL to imbed it in another thread?

In Chrome or Safari on my Mac or when I use windows it works by using the photo address in the c-brat album after adding

to the end of the address. On the iPad using safari the only choice is copy the address shown for the image & that is a different address then shown on the Mac or in windows, so it won’t upload the photo. I assume it’s the same with iPhone. Normally I use the iPad exclusively when viewing C-Brats or uploading photos to it, but have to use the Mac computer if wanting to show a photo from any c-brat album in a thread. I too would like to know if there is a way to do this with the iPad as we only take the iPad with us now on our extended cruises & there have been several times, like Colby now, that we would liked to have shared a photo in a thread, but couldn’t make it work.

If using Chrome on the iPad or iPhone you simply hold a finger on the picture and choose Open Image. That brings just the photo up in a new tab where you copy the URL from the address bar at the top.

Here is Colby’s latest pic done that way from my iPad.



Of course, that is no help to Safari users.

Mike, I didn’t know there is a google chrome app, that I could download to my iPad. Found & downloaded it & as shown below with Colby’s first photo of his present trip it worked. Thanks much, as this is the first time I could do this. Colby should be able to do the same on his iPhone.

I'll think about it.... :roll: lol. In the mean time, I'll make use of my laptop when I have internet...just a lot easier.... than teaching an old dog new tricks... lol Colby
