This scenic waterway, "one of the most beautiful in North America, over 700 miles long, is a grand adventure through wild nature and fascinating history". Have you traveled on it? Or even heard of it?

The Temiskawa Waterway.

Perhaps you are looking for an off-the-beaten path beautiful cruise for this summer? Or just curious about what could be a marvelous experience for a well-prepared C-Dory cruiser.

Try a google search, and dream of summer cruising.

Hi El and Bill, when I first read about how they had made navigation possible along this waterway - the first thought that came to mind was - wow that would be a perfect trip for a C Dory!!

A group of guys did it on PWC's last year I think about 500km. The guy from Power Boat TV was one of them, they did a program on it.

Enjoyed reading the account of your trip.

Regards, Rob

Was just looking through my Feb. issue of Canadian Yachting and there is a write up in it about the group that did this river last summer. 14 riders on 11 PWC. They did it to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain's trip in a birch bark canoe. They did 668 km. in 4 days!!

The magazine article also lists their fuel contacts, lodging contacts, tourism contacts and transfer contacts(trailers that take boats around rapids, dams, etc.).

Never boated there myself but I have met lots of people from my area that have gone there for the white water rafting adventure.

Regards, Rob
