unloading trailer on land

OK, will do, I have an email into the previous owner and asked if he may have the paper the BMV wants.

Bill, call their customer service line in Spokane. That might get things moving more quickly.

Multiple safety violations in that video. But some folks get away with it...all it takes is one mistake, and things cascade down hill very rapidly...

Yep, I just added up the areas of potential disaster after watching this video and am in total agreement with myself that doing this is nuts!!

On the other hand, it's done all day every day in boatyards, and Bill K did say he has blocked boats while working at his boat club. I would say it has the very real potential for disaster, and should not be undertaken lightly; but that conversely, if planned and executed logically and carefully, it's no different than many other things we do that could be dangerous. In other words, it all depends on the "nut behind the wheel."

If Bill K can get the required info from EZ-Loader, then it will all be easy and he can move on to other "Whee, my new boat!" projects :thup

Darn, I could have done it before I came home.
I just picked up the boat at Wefings last week and brought it home to Toledo, Ohio. LOL

Thanks for the offer

You are welcome to use our davits in Florida and we have boat stands

An update,
The hoist at the yacht club will not be running until April 1st, so I included a letter stating that I could not get the trailer registered at this time and why.

I sent that letter along with all the proof that I had taken the boat out of the state to the Florida authorities and registered it in Ohio.
