Universal Boat Covers

Dear Folks, have any of you ordered a universal boat cover? I would really like to have a tarp or cover for the winter for my 22 Cruiser. I wouldn't be trailering it with the tarp, and all it would need to be would be winter protection, but I would like it breathable. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks a lot.

We have used a Blue or Silver Tarp on the CD 22, which was stored in the Vegas sun. They last about a year--if you are lucky--in that environment. ON the other hand, I have a custom made Sunbrella cover for my Road Trek--and its on its 3rd year, still looks like new. Definately worth getting a good cover. I just had my sewing machine "tuned up" and most likely I will make a Sunbrella Cover for the CD 25 some time this winter or spring.

I've been using a silver/blue tarp for the last 5 months here in Oregon. It cost around $70 and I'm dissapointed in how it's holding up. I thought I'd get a year out of it but it looks like I'll be lucky if it lasts the whole year. Not sure I want to drop another 1k for a sunbrella cover. I wonder how some quality canvas tarps would hold up?

But they don't list C-Dory!!!

Ooops! :embarrased

I am having them make a cover for my inflatable and just ass-u-me-d that they would make one for C-Dory. I should think you could find a Sea Sport cover that would come pretty close to what you need.
