unique microwave mount

Just finished a boat project that I have been working on for awhile.I did not want to hit my head on the microwave when washing dishes so I made a movable mount for my microwave and toaster oven. I used 2 pocket door tracks so that when on the move the ovens stay aft above the wallas and sink; then when cooking I can roll them forward over the helm which expands the limited galley. The hardest part was making 18 nylon spacers all different lengths and angles to level out the tracks. I don't know how to insert pictures here so I will show them in my album.
 
Yes It rolls pretty easy so you have to have a lock pin so it won't slide forward when you slam on the brakes :lol:
Fuel vent: the original fuel vent did not have a loop in it( there was no room as it was to high under the gunnel) so any water sprayed at in could go right into the tank. The replacement has a water trap in it so it allows air exchange but no liquid in, it also has a float ball to slow done most gas on a overfill. The only problem was that the new one was to large to go in the original hole so the round aluminum plug you see in the picture I machined to fill the hole. The new one is black and below, barely visible in the picture.
 
i'm doing a microwave install as well. i've taken out the cooler/refrig looking item found under the helm seat. i purchased a white shelf from lowes for $5. measures 24" x 12" x 5/8". cut it to 17 1/2", wood cabinet opening is 17 5/8", have mounted the microwave on the shelf using window shade brackets, will secure the shelf using 3/4" x 3/4" x 10" cleats screwed to each side of wooden cabinet. will mount a door, made of the same shelf material, cut to size, directly under the microwave, for additional storage. bought the microwave from walmart for $49.00. microwave is 700 watts, 17 3/8" x 10 3/4" x d= 11". i have shore power circuit panel inside the cabinet under the sink area, have mount a gfi in same area and will plug the microwave into that. the microwave can not be mounted flush with the original wood cabinet, will be extended out approx. one inch, so that the door can open 90 degrees. will trim out the surrounding. can email pictures to anyone wanting same. microwave should do all that we need and should not be a problem for our 2000w honda gen.

The cape cruiser has a cored top so I just ran a ss sheet metal screw thru all those spacers.The track is alumium but the little rollers have steel in them so hopefully won't rust to bad. One time I did have a sea lion do a canon ball at me and splashed salt water all the way on to the dash/ instruments. :(
