University of British Columbia students are planning to launch a 5.5m boat in August and sail it across the Atlantic. Nothing new about that except it will have nobody aboard! They have built smaller models to test all the systems and now feel they are ready. It will include solar panels to power electrical needs. Cost them around $60,000. to build.
