Two Lucky Fish has been in my driveway for about a month now. In that time, I've completed a bunch of projects. Among them:
This boat is ready to CRUISE. And although I'm still not ready to make an announcement due to a hang-up with the SBA/bank financing, it should be noted that this boat is ready to WORK, too, if that were to become a reality.
- Engine 1000-hour service, including water pump overhaul and high-pressure fuel filter replacement.
Professional detailing. This boat has NEVER looked so good under my ownership. Worth the money ($35/foot, you do the math).
New registration number and boat name graphics from Prism Vinyl.
New Magma grill cover in Sunbrella matching canvas and upholstery (I learned how to use Julia's sewing machine!).
New interior floor covering: Best-Step anti-fatigue flooring interlocking mats from Home Depot (seems nice now, we'll see how it ages).
New Milennia MR50 stereo headunit plays USB thumb drives, SD cards, and aux input from iPod or laptop.
Custom-built stereo enclosure by Paul at Brighterworks.
New windlass hole cover plate, plus pad to protect foredeck from anchor shank/swivel.
Drilled and epoxy-sealed chain locker drain hole lower. Chain locker should dry out better now.
Touched-up bottom paint where it was flaking off (trim tabs) and wearing off (near waterline). Not perfect, but looks a lot better, and should get me through the season.
Complete replumb of freshwater system. No more brown stuff in the tubing!
New lazarette hatch covers.
New propane stove for cooking "bagel eggels" at the transom. Magma grill works fine as a stove, but it's dirty, and only one burner at a time.
