We would like to thank everybody that showed up to our open house today, we really appreciate you spending the afternoon with us. Special thanks to Pat and Patty whose beer is rapidly becoming our beer of choice, and Bill I hope that your trip back to Oly was uneventful.

We will do more of these simple gatherings throughout the year as we truly feel it is one of the best ways to give back to those that have supported us this last year and a half.

Thanks again everybody and have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

Scott

And thanks for hosting us! It was great fun! And half the thanks on the beer go to David on Anna Leigh, without David there would have been no Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company...

Scot -I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it. I spent today drilling holes in the roof of my Tomcat to install the radar and VHF antenna and routing wires and cabling. I'm waiting for the epoxy that I used to seal the holes to dry and then I'll re-drill and fasten everything down tomorrow. I hope you had a great turnout and that everyone had a good time.

Thanks for putting on the event and the treats. Brenda and I had a great time, Brenda was impressed by the operation and the built quality, I certainly know my boat is in good hands with Greg and the laundry list of items to service and install. I will have to pick up some of the flyers to place on my boat, as I forgot to grab some. See you in a few days to pick up my boat.

Thanks agin Triton

Scott, thank you very much for the fine afternoon and the home style BBQ. Not only did I enjoy the fine Snoqualmie Beer, but I consumed my share of Jeremiah Johnson's fine home brew as well. (Jeremiah, I have those bottles you requested, however don't expect there to be any beer left in them when I return them to you.... )
It was great to see C-Dorys being built. This "family type" operation reminds me a lot of the former factory in Kent. It certainly exudes the atmosphere that every C-Dory will be built with the love and personal attention of each participant in the manufacturing process that the C-Dory truly deserves.
Don and Brenda, I've been looking forward to meeting you for some time and from what I've been told, that may have been you that relinquished your parking space for me when I drove in with my van. Some day we'll meet.
Another of the plus factors for the factory being in Ferndale is that I got to stop by on my way home to visit our daughter at work at the Red Robin in Bellingham.
Pat and Patty.....Jessica and I also slipped over to say hi to your son while he was at work. It is very obvious that he enjoys what he is doing and is an asset to his employer. :thup

Would have loved to have been there. Had a prior commitment out on the water on Anna Leigh doing aUSCG Aux patrol for the Anacortes Salmon Derby. Sunday morning here at the marina (5 am) and the winds are up 15-20.

Dave S. indeed we gave up our space, I recognized the mustache and how many other people have a IAFF decal on their windshield. We had a long list of things to do as we just got in from Sacramento, caught a few hours of sleep and then hooked the boat up to drop it there at Triton for service.

David, we too were honored by the CC last night when the CC vessel Mellon cruised by, went hallfway up Camano Island then turned around and spent the night in Holmes harbor, and just cruised past us a few minutes ago I assume heading back to Seattle.

It was a great trip Scott, and the sheer joy of having had quality work done on the boat helped make it so! It's obvious Greg not only knows what he's doing, but cares a lot about all aspects of the work. All too often I've had installations or body work done on the boat and said to myself, "Damn! As ignorant as I am, I could have done a better job than that!" Not this time. I also really appreciate how accommodating you all were to my travel needs. I know how busy yesterday was for you.

PS to Don: By the time I got to Saratoga in the early evening, it was no longer quite the placid pond it had been yesterday morning! Still, it wasn't nearly as rough as it was on the way up a couple of weeks ago.

PS to Pat: I had to pass on the beer this time. It would have gone great with the excellent burger I ate, but I had some serious boating to do, so I'll walk down to the Eastside Club and hoist one instead.

Roger (Sensei)....Please share this post with Jeremiah.....Jeremiah, so far I've lived up to my promise.....The bottles are now empty....However, I didn't empty them by myself. I shared the contents with Carol and two of our neighbors. All three of them were impressed with the beer! Carol normally is hesitant to try homebrew beer and when I informed her that to me it had a bit of a "honey taste" she asked to try it. After her tasting it, she asked for more and said...."That is REALLY good!".

Roger/Jeremiah, I'll try to hook up with you this week to return the empties.....
