Trailer for tomcat 255

I'm interested in a float on double axle trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes. Does anyone know what the costs would be new? Or if anyone has a used one?

Just got a regular one for our 25 cruiser with EOH 8600lb carrying capacity and it was 6629 USD but that was a deal in my mind at least the boat yard selling it may not have been a dealer as they used it to tow a Grady one way. It was a Load Rite and their Elite model.

I replaced my original trailer with a Wefings Float-On with EOH brakes in 2015. Marc Grove made arrangements to get it factory made and delivered in time while we were passing through on a Sarasota adventure. He took the old trailer and sold it on consignment. His was $900 less than a Mobile East Marine quote. Get an extra spare hub mounted inside the spare tire. If you can upgrade to Goodyear Endurance (US made) tires over Chinese it will be worth it per many experienced toy haulers.

Having a new truck and new trailer with specs that can comfortably (rather than barely) handle a TC255 in heavy cruise mode were the two best mods we've made if you tow cross country. Our scale tickets in cruise mode with only 1/4 gas, no water has been 11,040 to 11,060 lbs since 2013 purchase. Add 750 lbs for full gas.

I'd work with Marc if I were in your shoes. It is a well designed, salt water trailer.

Good luck!
John
