Towing info

I wonder why they only mention light duty trucks. Half tons are pretty capable but are only half way up the scale for towing pickups, I like the torque and economy of the big Chevy, Dodge and Ford diesels and they give you a better safety margin on the larger boats.
 
I think they concentrate on the highest sold consumer trucks on the market, hence the lack of 3500/350 ratings.

Unfortunately, they even skip over the requirements of some of the manufactures to have a weight-distribution hitch when towing over 5000lbs (Nissan/Toyota) Speaking of which, anyone need a brand new in box weight distribution hitch package? I bought it to tow our 25 with my father in-laws Tundra and then bought an F350.
