With wife and 5 boys on board having to get little creative for beds an built this over the weekend. It ads quite a bit of storage and makes a nice additional bed.

I love this! My 6 year old sleeps on an air mattress on the floor and just started to complain about "sleeping on the floor." If we created something like this, I could call it her "bed"

Do you you have other pictures you can share?
 
Joe: I'm a little confused (that happens often BTW!). Is someone gonna sleep inside? Or is the inside part for storage and then sleep on top?

Either way, your skills are impressive....
 
Hi South of Heaven,

So it's basically an 8" high cabinet that matches the height of the v-birth bed and the storage area under the port side feet area. It has 3 lids that can lift off with lot's of storage are below but more importantly it will make for a new bed to sleep on top of, turns the already big bed underneath into a much bigger bed.

Just need to get a couple cushions made to match the others.

5 boys, gotta be creative with bedding

Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, we'd all like to see more pics of the finished product!
