As I sit here at the Gibson Inn in Apalachicola waiting to head over to see Marc at Wefings to visit my new 16 Cruiser I wonder if this rain will ever stop. On our first visit Wednesday the boat was nearly finished with Dave adding some lights, fixing the seat and putting in some rod holders, the boat looked great and I look forward to getting out on a future nice sunny day. We do have those here in Florida........don't we?

Even, perhaps especially, in the rain you'll appreciate and enjoy that nice little cuddy cabin. Congratulations on your new boat, and remember, I get a ride this winter.

Congrats on the new boat, and on having the good sense to pick a C-Dory and have the enclosed cabin for all the rain shedding comfort. BTW, if you don't get rain, you don't get green ---- we know that from the PNW experience. :rainbow

Thanks and yes Smitty you do get a ride when you return for a visit to Florida. Finally got a break and got out with Marc on the Apalachicola River. Looking forward to getting the boat back home to DeLand today.

Well we got Stan and Peggy on their way home between rainstorms with the new 16 Cruiser . The boat was extremely well built and true to the C Dory history of great small boats. The Honda 40 EFI pushed her well at about 23 Kts and the Permatrim gave great control over the ride . Stan is a great customer and we enjoyed the whole transaction!
Marc and the Wefings crew .

Hey I'm really excited for you, I'm the Mt Dora guy that got my 16 April 1st. I've got my front windows done and now I'm having a gas tank made to increase my range. Last month I launched at Ed Stone ramp and ran up to Astor, It was heaven until my engine started sputtering half way back. My fuel line to my gas tank came loose enough to shut me down, Well this story is going somewhere, I simply called Sea Tow and was picked up in one hour. My tow was 3 & half hours the bill was $820, I have been a member for three years now so I really came out ahead. Paying my Sea Tow bill next year will be no problem.

I wasn't sure if Seatow covered the St. John's so I am glad you posted that information. Once I check weather, we might get out to the Ed Stone ramp and tour the St. John's today. Huge Thank you to Marc and David and the whole crew at Wefing's Marine.
