Tired of the Rain

Hi Folks,

We had a week of bad weather in the North East, but this week has been great. Shorts weather.

Last year the rain was so bad in upper state New York that the Erie Canal was shut down most of the summer. When we went through there in September we saw signs of it around Amsterdam. The docks were lifted more that ten feet and right off their brackets. The lock house at lock 10 was leaning to one side, and one town said that their flood came from the hills behind the town, not from the Canal.

Maybe there is something to Global Warming. Is the end near!!!!!.

For those of you living in the Pac NW who have not seen a Cascade volcano since last summer, here's Mt. Baker with R-Matey and Immaculata-nada in the foreground. Took the picture late this afternoon, after ice cream stop at Orca Landing.[/url]

Bill and El,

Thanks so much for taking such a great photo. Goes to show everyone that we do have beautiful sunny days here in the PNW, even if it is during the week when Pat's at work :)
