The "If You Must" forum....

If I remember right, this is a forum for members only that doesn't show up on Guest's computers.

It was created a few years back when we had a rash of political and other non-boating controversial topics that created some hard feelings among members.

I also think that the topics in it automatically disappear after a certain time period to keep them from re-surfacing and causing further stress and discord.

Part of the problem (IMHO) was that tensions get elevated when we're mostly house-bound with cabin fever in the winter, which was the time during which most of the problem discussions occurred.

More recently, we've been on our best behavior, following the "just be nice" rule for the most part!

For what it's worth, I can't find the "If You Must" Forum.

Where did you run into it?

Maybe it's empty, since we haven't used it in a while?

Or maybe Bill and/or Mike simply removed it, since we don't need it anymore. (!)

Joe. :teeth :thup

It has never been activated, and only the people who are either bordering on being rebellious or are wanting really badly to act up can see it. Mild mannered former school teachers will probably never find it.

How do you know that I'm NOT "bordering on being rebellious"? I cut those tags right off of pillows and mattresses, I occasionally wear white Before Memorial Day and I've been known to use a #3 pencil on tests. Do I qualify?

It's been here on my account since I signed up. There's plenty of other places to go for heated debate...I certainly don't want to join in it here. These days instead of arguing, I just tell people to listen to alex jones :)

Thanks for clearing this up eh...I was wondering if there was a secret handshake or something :)

I heard that. why is free choice and difference of opinion rebellious? not that I mind. :smiled

Rogers big down fall is his flawed choice in fishing gear and releases.
