The Blackfin Resort Marina

We go back to this marina in Marathon which is in the middle of the Florida Keys every winter for a month or more. We live on the boat and as I remember it cost us about 800 dollars for the month. Last year Jim Favors and his lovely wife Lisa were docked close by a couple of slips down. They do amongst a lot of other things a blog and just sent us a link with some excellent pictures of the Blackfin and some of the places of interest close by in Marathon. I thought it would be a nice to share with the with any folks that might be considering a trip the Florida keys to beat the cold. Here is the link

Have heard good things about Blackfin. We stayed in Marathon 3 xs ,but before owning a boat,rented 21 paker at Fish-n-Fun they also had live shrimp to take out. Herbies restaurant was our favorite eating spot. Also fished off Marathon Lady headboat.
