Thanks for sharing this! It is truly amazing to see the baby turtles emerge from the sand, and find their way to the water.
Down our way at the beach the county bans lights on the beach which might be confusing to the baby turtles--they find their way to the water at night toward the light of the moon and reflections off the water. If a light is on the land side, they confuse that with the moon--and will not survive. Generally the turtle nesting areas are protected by the National Sea Shore...
