Hi Brats,

Yesterday I posted a thread about a trip that we are on in the That's Life Forum, thinking that it would appear on the home page, but only registered users could see it.

The problem: I can't see it on the home page! Close to 40-some have seen it with two replies.

Question: to see that forum must someone go to the forums page and then enter the That's Life Forum to see threads posted there?

Never mind, I figured it out. It shows up in the New Posts section, but not on the home page. Duh!

It was a very long day (14 hours) today and it started with 40 degree temps and heavy rain for the first four hours. Two hours short of Mobile East something blew in the exhaust system and it sounds like someone threw a handful of marbles into the system. I suspect that the cat con is toast. I'll find out in the morning.

Right now we are on Valkyrie in the yard and it's time for bed after the requisite few beers to toast a new cruise!

If you put your thread in the Grand Adventures forum, then it will show up on the home page in the most recently active list. More people might see it that way.

Have fun. I would like to take the same trip some day.

Hi Nick -

The That's Life forum behaves that way because it is set so that only registered, logged in members can see it at all. We need to be able to feel free to embarrass ourselves in there!

How about if I move your thread to the Grand Adventures forum where you will be obligated to keep us up to date on the grand adventure?
