I would like to thank all who recommended "Collinite" wax. This stuff is really good. I haven't finished yet because it snowed. I noticed after the snow that the wind just blew the snow off of the boat. If snow won't stick then I am pretty sure the boat is protected.

Thanks

Patrick

And I want to thank you for the great post. It makes people feel good when they see a topic title like this.

Did you use the 870 or the 925?

There is a lot to choose from, which one do you use? http://www.collinitemarine.com/products.htm

Or did you use the cleaner followed by the Fiberglass wax?

Thank,

The prefered Colonite wax is the paste fleet wax. It is the hardest to apply, but is most durable.

Thanks Bob, I like durability especially when my golfers elbow returns everytime I do a total boat wax.
With our 5 month season up here I subscribe to the once a year clean and wax regiment, but pressure wash her after every trip.
I assume using the fiberglass cleaner first enhances the durability.

Jay

So far I have only used the 870 and it looks great.
