Dear C-Brats,

Thanks for the great photos! ':D'

Last year my wife and I vacationed on St George Island, Florida, across from Apalachicola. One day while driving through East Point, we passed this boat dealer and I noticed these neat little boats, C-Dory. What the heck is a C-Dory?

Then, a couple of months ago, I decided to surf Apalachicola sites and came accross Wefings. Well, one thing led to another. Next thing I new I was perusing the C-Dory site. Then I discovered C-Brats! What a revelation! What a great site and great bunch of folks.

To make a long story short, I have been digesting all your stories and threads! And I also have downloaded a bunch of your photos. Sometimes after a long day and some of my favorite refreshments (fermented grapes of the red variety), I load my iTunes, crank up iPhoto, and start a slide show of C-Brats photos. Wow, the possibilities are endless!!

My thanks to Wanderer, Halcyon, Wild Blue, Day Dreamer, Huda Thunkit, Thataway, Amelia Anne, Anna Leigh, Artic Egg, Ashley Lynn, FaCdory Guys, Moose, TyBoo, Nootka, Knotty C, Adios, Valkyrie, Discovery, Sea-Skipper, Luna Pearl, Snapshot, Don Quixote, C’s the Day, Helen O’, Gypsy, Jammin, Dora Jean, C-Puffin, C-Eagle, Meander, Pluto, and all the rest for your great photos. In particular, my hat’s off to Hunky Dory. Your Alaska slides are incredible.

Help! I’m addicted to these boats. Is there an antidote?

Yes! Buy one just like the rest of us did and it will take the edge off for a short while!

Glad you liked our album and welcome to the site.

I agree with Nick, but then again I usually do. Met him in Langford Bay in '06. Good guy with a beautiful C-Dory.

Now just head down to your bank and getcha a handful of money. Better still get two handfulls, one for the boat and one for accessories.

Then buy a C-Dory and create an album of your own!

As Nick said, welcome to the site. Purchasing a C-Dory is very exciting, and it's just the beginning of the adventure!

Terry --
Byrdman is in TN and he (or his brother) would be happy to show you their boats, if you want a ride on a C-Dory. Glad you enjoy the pictures.

Terry,

Welcome to the site and the "Lust-filled world" of a Wanna-Be C-Dory owner. Next time you're down stop in and see us...we usually have nearly the full line in stock. If you're not financially ready for a new one I know of a few exceedingly nice used boats on the market (one 22 Cruiser and a 25). Don't think I've gone into mission work or somehow become selfless overnight...I do have sales contingent on the sales of these units.

Next time you're looking at the photos take a moment to peruse Jeff & Cathy Brigners "C-Pearl"... She is an amazing example of 20 pounds of WOW in a 10 pound bag!

To the rest of you, looking forward to seeing Y'all at the 2nd Annual SE Gathering!

Terry,

Like you, I recently visited St. George's Island on a quick trip from Baton Rouge to Florida's Emerald Coast. I was accompanied by my future "Executive Officer", Joan. I had been showing Joan the Wefing's website and the C-Ranger 25 Tug. She, being the one who really wanted to spend a weekend at the beach, thought that the tug was charming and was receptive to our stopping to view one at Wefing's.
Well, after meeting Buzz, Charlie, and others at the dealership, we were shown the tug, the Rosborough RF-246, and the C-Dorys. I quickly observed the quality in both of the "trawler cruisers" and we are beginning to seriously consider the time frame necessary to structure funds for a purchase of one of these fine boats. Joan and I each have a child attending college, along with other usual expenses, but I'm hoping that a boat purchase may happen sooner than later.
My thanks, also, to all of the C-Brats for their wonderful stories, pictures, and Joie de Vivre so brilliantly displayed on this website. If we find ourselves to be C-Dory owners one day, I have know doubt that we will be made to feel more than welcome.
