Just purchased Dan and Tanya's lovely 23' Venture. This is my first boat and I couldn't have asked for better experience. Such nice people and a beautiful clean boat with plenty of little extras.

The boat will be on the next barge out of Seattle to Alaska and will be available to pick up next Monday. I am excited to be able to explore the waters around Ketchikan!

Thank you again for a wonderful day with such nice folks.

Kim

The Misty Fjords National Monument just around the corner from Ketchikan is simply spectacular, Kim. You also might like to do the Inside Passage - in reverse! Prince Rupert down to Cape Caution could take a lifetime to explore! Take lots of pictures and post them here! You got a great boat from great people for sure!

Thanks Kim! We hope you and Ronnie managed to find everything you desired while shopping at West Marine and other locations before heading homewards and also hope most of it fit inside the C-Dory to optimize the shipping.

Best of luck w/ the new boat and keep in touch w/ us to let us know how its going and please do not hesitate to ask if you come up w/ any questions since things were pretty rushed on Sunday.

Stay safe out there.

Take care,
Dan, Tanya, and Hannah

Kim, CONGRATS, and you got a really nice boat. Sounds like you have a great cruising area, and I sure hope to get to cross wakes with you somewhere. Dan and Tanya are great folks and good friends. I'm sure they treated you right. I've known them since they started looking at C-Dory's, and we have had some great times.

Enjoy your boat and show it off here. Ask Tyboo or DaNag for a photo album.

Thanks, Pat. I've done the flyover, but I'm looking forward to seeing Misty Fjords from ground level! As this is not only my first boat but I am also a neophyte to boating, I imagine it will be some time before I venture that far!

*+Harvey,

They were fantastic. Dan patiently explained the bits and bobs of the boat. Tanya fed us smoked salmon (well, fed this to Ronnie) and bite size chicken pot pies. Just a fantastic couple.

Thanks for the welcome.

Kim

Dan,

I bought the necessary safety equipment and the navionics chip for our area.

Ronnie bought a dinghy and 5hp kicker, 2 kayaks, a load of goods from Costco and many more things than I can name. He somehow managed to fit all onto and into the boat for the journey!

If you guys are ever up this way, you will be welcome to hot showers, soft beds and home cooking!

Dan

I did not realize that your boat was even for sale. What are your plans now?

My wife and I will always remember you as the first people who greeted us at Laconner for our one and only gathering and running into you at the boat show and other miscellaneous places.

Hope as is well for you and your wife.
Bryan
